1.01 Contact list will be updated when necessary as required on the League Website: www.centrefourhockeyleague.com.
1.02 Please remember that both teams involved in the rescheduling of a game must notify the President and Statistician by email to verify their agreement to reschedule the game. Also the rescheduled date must be confirmed at this time.
Item 2 – Game Sheets
2.01 Please complete all game sheets as per memo. Remember to note goaltender changes on the score sheets.
2.02 Home team is responsible to fax game results to the League Statistitian as soon as possible (within 12 hours) following the game. A $50.00 fine will be assessed to teams failing to comply. Remember you only have to fax a copy of the front portion of the game sheet following the game. Do not fax the referee summary on the back of the report.
2.03 Original game sheets are to be sent to the President in the self-addressed stamped envelopes provided at the scheduling meeting. Weekend game sheets must be mailed on Monday and weekday game sheets must be mailed the following day. Failure to comply will result in a $50.00 fine. You do not have to fax a copy of the game sheet to the President.
2.04 If the referee has to keep the original game sheet due to serious penalties, please give him the self-addressed stamped envelope.
Item 3 – Team Rosters and Fees
3.01 All S.H.A. fees, team certification forms, and player registration forms must be in the hands of the SHA Executive Director prior to the commencement of league play.
3.02 A copy of the team rosters must be faxed/e-mailed to the League Statistician prior to the first league game.
3.03 Team registration fees of $300.00 per team and team performance bond of $500.00 for new teams must be paid prior to league play.
Item 4 – Suspensions
4.01 Remember it is the responsibility of each team manager and/or coach to ensure his player(s) sit out their appropriate suspensions. When in doubt contact the League President (Phone: 747-3431, Fax: 747-4378, E-mail: clemville@sasktel.net).
4.02 Game Misconduct in the last 10 minutes of the game will not receive a notice of one (1) game suspension.
4.03 Keep in mind checking from behind majors/checking to the head majors in the last 10 minutes of the game results in an automatic two (2) game suspension. No notice of suspension will be sent.
4.04 Team officials must contact the League President by fax /e-mail if their suspended player(s) will be serving a suspension in a tournament or provincial game. Teams failing to report suspensions served in above situations will be in danger of forfeiting points in league games.
4.05 Team officials must contact the League President by email with the names of players receiving fighting majors or instigator/aggressor penalties during exhibition, tournament, or provincial games.
4.06 Team officials are to note on game sheets who are serving suspensions, ie: Brown – susp (1 of 3).

Item 5 – Major Penalities
5.01 Five (5) minute major penalties (other than fighting majors) such as high sticking, cross checking, slashing, etc. will be monitored by the League President. Players receiving their third major of these types of infractions will receive a minimum one (1) game suspension.
Item 6 – Checking From Behind/Checking To Head Penalities
6.01 All players who receive their second CFB/CTH minor penalty or their first CFB/CTH major penalty will receive a letter from the League President. Managers are to give the letter to the player involved and make a copy for the coach. Coaches must discuss the consequences and seek solutions to ensure that it does not occur again.
Item 7 – Abuse of Officials (Rule 9.2)
7.01 Any player, coach, team official who receives their third game misconduct for abuse of an official (Rule 9.2) will receive a minimum one (1) game suspension.
Item 8 – Line Brawl Fights
8.01 The League will not condone this type of behavior. The following MINIMUM suspensions will take effect immediately when there is a line brawl (more than 1 fight):
a) Coaches may be suspended the same number of games as there are fights on the ice. (ie: 3 fights – 3 game suspensions).
b) Coaches who are identified as the instigator of the line brawl may be suspended the same number of games as there are fights, plus an additional 5-10 games.
c) Players fighting, but not identified as the original fight, will receive a minimum 2 game suspension.
d) If a player is identified as the instigator of the original fight and line brawl, he will receive a minimum 2 game suspension.
8.02Players involved in a fight after a period/game is over will be suspended for a minimum of 2 games.
